Emergent Church... the church is everywhere

I have just come back from Copenhagen, SALT-conference (SALT-Oslo). It was faboulus and interesting, indeed. Not only beacause of the new, postmodern, hip and retro-neo-cool motto: Emerging Church - the future of an other day... (ok, I just made up THAT title), but beacause one manage to meet som really good friends and have time to make new relationships. The consept of 'Emergent Church' is an two-sided sword... as everything else... Some critical voices holds up the "oh- they- want- to- rip- all- apart- and- rebuild- an- demonic- and- anti- christ- like- something" -event, yet others have this "all- the- well- known- dogmatic- stuff- is- all- and- everything- but- we- need- to- find- some- new- ways- to- communicate- it" -approache. Me myself is heading for the last one - not saying the others' fully wrong. I believe in an well-balanced and a respectful dialogue is the best way - without turning "grey" in the "whit-and-black" -forest. Anyway; I absolutley recomand you watching for Jason Clarks blog-site. Of course - my opinion is absolutley: watch out for crap during the internet-sufing heading for the topic! Read carefully and use your heart and brain... But honestley; we do need listen for our call in the world of today! Jesus Christ is the name we want to proclame - but just in words - or in the way one live? We do need moral standard - but Jesus said a lot more - even showed it by living His call...
